What kinds of projects do you do? Click on the “Services” and “Technologies” links for a summary of available services and skills. As projects vary quite a bit, there often is no “typical” project. Please call to discuss your specific requirements, and together we’ll determine what skills are an appropriate fit to your needs. What’s the lead time in scheduling projects? Sometimes a short project can be accomplished quickly, or a project can be scheduled during a break between others. During busier times, there may be a delay in accepting new projects. In any case, an important goal is to be responsive to new clients, so please call to discuss your project’s requirements. Will you be able to work at my location? Work is done where it’s most convenient for the client. Work can be performed at your location, or off-site. Each arrangement has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. On-site work requires, of course, that the client provide an appropriate work space. But the advantage is that it’s easy to interact with other staff members. Off-site work is done with a minimum of interruption to the client, with regular communication by email and telephone. Many projects use a combination of these techniques. Do you serve clients outside California? Richey Software Training is based in Northern California, and is available for projects throughout California and North America. We invite you to call to discuss your needs. After an initial meeting, many types of work can be effectively performed remotely, or with occasional travel. Together we can work out a customized strategy appropriate for your project. |
